Amateur Radio Message Formats
The Net Manager or the NCS usually determines the format of the messages to be sent. This format might be the format specified by the ARRL, or it might be a format that is tailored to the content of the messages to be sent. The ARRL format is frequently not used when messages during emergency situations are sent locally to personnel inside the agencies or organizations being served.
